In this workshop we go through the procedures of smoking fish and other products using hot and cold smokers.
I will show you how to cure the fish prior to smoking. We will make a homemade cold smoker made from Recycled Pallets. One lucky person will win the finished smoker to take home. (drawn from a hat on the day)
We will also go over making Flavoured Rubs and you will make your own Seasoned Sea salts to take home. Also, you will take home a side of South Island Smoked Salmon (included in the price).
I will show you how to make your own Flaky sea salt from locally sourced fresh seawater.
